i see what are you trying to do now. I guess you want to use the DA1000 digital output with the H701?

you are correct dear nelson,

I want two options in system.
One for my wife))) and everyday usage and it is OEM unit plus DA1000 plus proc.

Second is CD-changer or ipod with loseless connected directly to processor.

On the second option why dont you just get a dension 500? you can also add the OEM cd changer if you like with the Dension 500.

I did what you were trying to do 3 years ago because there were not good options available like they are now. you should skip option 2.

You are right. Should forget about any "difficult" ways. External units should be used only for tuning, not for eveyday usage.
