Go for it.

First time around to see how yoru car react, go with 3 gallon, about $30, adn fill the rest with 93 oct.

Just to see how your car handles it. See if you like it, I am sure you will.

Then the next step would be 1/2 with 110 and half 93.

The question is, can it handle 116 oct. mixed with 93?

Anyone know
I'm going with all 116 and blowing my engine out. screw it! I'm going back to the future bitches!

Enjoy the smooth shifting and the quick acceleration......

Just think, your actually cleannig yoru injectors at the same time
I thought the theory was that the octane rating was a rating of resistance to ignition. You can trigger ignition when compression is higher in the cylinder releasing more energy, the fuel itself does not contain any more energy than a lower octane fuel. If it's true that the ECU will detune itself to run on lower octane fuel then the reverse might also be true that it can tune itself for a higher octane but how far will it go? It seems that the worst that can happen is that you are just waisting money on a higher octane than the engine can use. All thats happening if you use an octane too high for the ECU is that its triggering ignition before it's peek compression. This is not the same as using lower octane fuel that auto detonates before the ECU can trigger the sparkplug which causes knocking and can lead to engine damage. The answer would probably be to mix octanes until you get to a peek performance from the ECU

Anyone have some race fuel and a dyno?
