Hello - I got a quote of $690 for all the oem parts from a dealer. Does anyone have a vendor or any information on a cheaper option other than matte and vinyl for these parts?
Thanks
Thanks

I used vinyl, fact is no one other than the dealer sells the gloss black trim new. And since it only comes from BMW as OEM on the M5 you have to pay a premium for it. At least your quote was better than mine, when I asked they told me $850 for the parts alone. I didn't want regular shodowline just because it is a stock option on our cars, so I went with gloss black for a little more distinct look. ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

HAHAHA so far it's been great, been on for about 8 months now. Whether you apply it yourself, or have someone do it, keep in mind there will be some bubbles. The little ones will go away after a few heat cycles, and the big ones can just be popped with a needle and smoothed out. Also, leave a little overlap over all the edges, the vinyl shrinks after it's heated (like summer) the first few times.

I got the matte one for $210 from the newport dealer, or it may have been the other popular one. They may have the gloss one as well.
