High Beam Malfunction

My Ride: 2004 530i,Titanium silver,cold weather package
What's Up Guys,
Recently my left high beam went out,so of course I thought the bulb(h7)needed to be replaced.So I order some from Bimmian.com,I installed the new bulbs,but I'm still getting the codes poping up malfunction.But now I'm getting codes for both high beams are malfunctioning ,but the right high beam still works.VERY strange,I really don't like driving around with one high beam working seeing that they also works as my DRL's.My car is 2004 530i pre-LCI I believe.Has anyone experienced this,anything I can repair before letting the "stealership" diagnose what's going on.Maybe I should let the dealership diagnose the problem,but buy the part from Garry of Newport then have it put in elsewhere.
