I have a 2007 550i and it already has DRL but it seems to use an under-volted high beam for it? And it's all yellow and stuff so I was wondering if I could swap it out for different Xenon bulbs but I'm not sure which ones to use.

To my knowledge you can swap your stock high beam bulb with a aftermarket xenon bulb.. email member -- John@motorcepts.com - he has helped me with all my lighting and is pretty much a guru at what you need..

if u run HIDs in the high beam, it's a waste of money. You also need to run a gold relay for that. I dont recommend it. You can get the LED bulbs but you LOSE the flashing high beam brightness. You still have stock bixenons when you push the lever though. IMHO, the BEST way is to turn off the daytime running lights for the cleanest look. Do not get colored bulbs. They are dangerous since they run on high wattage and may damage the harnesses or worse housing.
