So I am currently debating between HID and LED angel eyes for my 5. I know HIDs are generally more expensive and make for a more labor intensive install as well, but is the payoff really that much better than what you get with LEDs?
Personally I really don't like the 'blue' or even 'purple' effect that you get from really bright lights. Especially on cars other than bimmers, it looks poor IMO. You can go ahead and disagree with me, I'm fine with that.
Anyway would you recommend HIDs (8000k) that look white or LEDs that cost less and are something that I can install myself?
Thanks fellas.

So, I put in the LED angel eyes which make it look white instead of yellow. is there a HID conversion?
I do not know if my car is LCI, 2007 530xi sport package with ADAPTIVE BI-Xenon lights.
