I have a friend who ran a Xenon depot kit , it did power up unlike mine because i guess his kit was different watts than mine... his prob was that he kept getting the fog light malfunction message. im sure all their kits are plug and play.. the problem you will probably be faced with is , 1. it dosent light up and flickers or 2. you will get a headlight malfunction error. Most people on this forum used to resort to running resistors, relays ect to fix it... now you can just buy the CANBUS FIX and call it aday like i did...

=) Nice foglights Carlos.

I did a similar setup to yours, with some cables I got from Hong Kong. 24.99 to get rid of the error message and flickering.

Keep the mods coming!!

is there a hid kit that matches the stock headlight color (4300k). I dont want to spend the extra 150 to swap out to 6000k.

alpine.. i dont know of any aftermartket kits that are dead on at 4300k to match the stock headlights... but check out these 5000k its from the same guy i bought my 3000k kit from.. i like his kits because you can swap out just the bulbs to different temps... he sell the bulbs alone 79 per pair if you want other temps. here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/5000K-McCul...1QQcmdZViewItem

McCulloch is a very good brand that is also recommended in the other forums. So now, all I need is this HID conversion kit and the CANBUS FIX for my fog lights to match my factory headlights right? I just hope i can find some pics somewhere in this forum to see how they are installed. Can anyone chime in?

I agree, I bought the McCulloch kit without hearing anything about it prior, I took a gamble on the product but can give it a now.. I am happy it's a good kit.. just get the 5000k kit I think its the closest to stock, considering your fogs are not projector like the headlamps it should look fairly the same... and yes order the Canbus fix and your done.

to correctly do this you will have to remove the front bumper to place the ballast in a safe place.. you can find bumper removal instrctions in the DIY section.. after removing the front bumper the rest is easy, find a place to either screw or stick the ballst and plug it in.

Here's a cable similar to the Canbus ones, but a little cheaper.

I have it on my kit. So far, works great, I've had it for 2 months now, no problems.

Idrive plug fix, and flickering cable.

I can't wait to see pics with 5000k fog lights. I love seeing pics of projects like this.
