I purchased a fog light HID system off EBay, after installing it I noticed a bulb would stay lit for a few mins or so but when picked up and moved around it would flicker then turn off. The seller insists that there is no issue with the bulb and that I need to purchase a relay or signal canceller to fix this problem. Anyone have any idea what this is and if its possible to make one myself or if it actually needs to be purchased.

is the HID kit I purchased, any help would be useful, thank you.

Yup, you are going to need the canceller. The current HID FOG kit you have is 35watts. It is going to flicker / cause an error on your i drive. You need to buy the cable to fix that error.

make sure the cancellor is connected properly or else the capcitor inside will blow and smoke will come out of the cancellor. I suggest returning the entire HID kit since sometimes, the capacitors wouldnt work but u can definitely try though
