I didn't know they came without either. I don't really use mine that much. It's nice in the cooler months to have it open but even then I rarely use it. Welcome to the boards though. Happy motoring!

And as for the sunroof, I had to have the seals changed twice on my previous E60's sunroof ... and I only had the car 18 months!!
The wind noise became very loud at higher speeds, starting from around 90 mph (140kmh) and became totally unbearable at 140mph (220kmh). I had to close the internal cover to make it half way acceptable, which kind of defeated the object of the exercise. So in the US, you're probably not going to have an issue with this on a regular basis, but in Germany you are. Needless to say, my current E60 doesn't have a sunroof! Shame really, because I like the extra light and fresh air.
