I will take pics tomorrow.. its raining in Jersey City, NJ today so I was unable to take pics.. but I am going to try and get connectors from the local auto parts store and splice whatever is left from the existing wires....

I am afraid to upgrade to HID's because if some cheap halogens overheated the wires then what would HID's do?!

Oh and yes, my vehicle has xenon lights..

If the bulbs melted the wires, you likley got a wattage that was way higher than stock. What are you looking to upgrade the HID to? Get them from some vendors here, you shouldn't have a problem.

If I were in your position, I'd contact one of our vendors who is very knowledgable about E60 lighting such as brabusw209amg (John).
