I just bought a set of the 19" 645 sport wheels and was assured they will fit my 545 sport, however I was told by someone else I could possibly run into a Fitment problem and possibly have a rubbing issue.

Current Wheels: 245/40/R18 (front) 275/35/R18 (rear)

New set: 245/40/R19 (front) 275/35/R19 (rear)

Does anyone know if the wheels will fit?

Please help if possible, Thanks

That is a 525, it makes me feel a bit better though seeing them on an E60. The 545 sport I believe is lower than the 525 Sport, which I think is where the problems may occur. I will know soon enough when I get them on the car this week.

Right, tire size is not the issue here as they are the same as your current at 275mm. The diameter of 19" is not an issue as the e60 can accomodate 20".

Look into the offset of the wheel. That will determine whether or not you will rub.

As you said, you already bought the wheels. Slap them on and you can tell US if they rub.

No verdict yet as the Wheels are on the way, but...

It is not sounding too good from what I have heard.

I know they will bolt on as the 5 bolt pattern is the same on both cars.

I know they will fit over the brakes as the wheel is bigger than my 18's.

I don't know if the offsets will work, as they are actually different even though I was originally told they are the same.

(545) http://zoouz.free.fr/Wheels/style/style_124.htm

(645) http://zoouz.free.fr/Wheels/style/style_121.htm

The tires are actually not the right tire either, which sucks! The tires that are coming on the rim are: 245/40/R19 (F) & 275/35/R19 ?.

It sounds like the E60 needs 245/35/R19 (F) & 275/30/R19 ? in order for the tire not to rub.

I will have the Wheels on Thursday and I will try to install, I hope they work! I am thinking I did not get such a good deal after all, however I can return them if they don't fit (even though I will lose the shipping $$ back).

I should have done a ton more research before the impulse buy! OOOO Well!!
