first i would like to say i have found this forum to be most excellent! VERY friendly people and a wealth of great information available at my finger tips! i've read alot and have learned quite a bit without asking any questions yet but here is my first (my first post)...

i recently purchased a light silver 2004 530i and im super happy with it (one week old ). i am looking at wheel choices and im thinking of going with 19" for front and rear. i came across a wheel from ADR called Propulsion that i like and think would look good but the center of the wheel is black. would this be a good combo? check out the pic and gimme some feedback..

I like the wheel design and I happen to think black looks good on a silver car as long as you get the right wheel. I don't know anything about ADR except that they are inexpensive so I would say be careful and make sure you are getting a good quality wheel. And welcome to the board!

Welcome to E60.net Your Bimmer looks good with black wheels and the design is very unique. But as arcticT mentioned, be sure to choose good quality wheels.

Black wheels on silver looks good.

Those wheels look pretty good too but if you can, you should look at the exact model/spec for your car first. Sometimes, the wheel in the picture is not what you're actually getting as things like size and offsets will make the wheel look different.

Good luck and post pics of your ride.

hey thanks for the welcome! the rim pictured is for the BMW 5 series.

5 x 120mm pattern

Size:
Front: 19" x 8.5" (2" lip)
Rear: 19" x 9.5" (2.5" lip)

Offset:
Front: +13mm
Rear: +15mm

I'd like to know if anyone has seen these rims in person or know of their quality. so far i havent been able to find anything bad (reviews) about them online... but im not ready to buy them yet, just looking for now. found these on flea-bay (ebay)

they're also available in all chrome and gun-metal....

thanks,
orlee

+1. Silver wheels on a silver car look okay, but a darker color contrasts well. Black, gunmetal, etc. Not a fan of those wheels in particular, but the color scheme is good.
