If you get coilovers you will need to get four. I recommend either KW v2 or Bilstein PSS9 coilovers b/c they'll allow you to adjust the height and dampening.

you don't have to change all struts, just the one that is dead. but yeah do go with coilovers. do you have aftermarket springs, cuz I know struts are covered under warranty if you have stock suspension

Just curious, What symptom did you get with dead strut ?

I have hitting lots of deadly deep pot holes and bumps at high speed.
Sydney roads are designed for rally cars and 4wd, i think.

It feels super harsh every time you hit any bump. Other symptoms can be excessive bouncing and steering can feel weird. Usually the symptoms can be felt during aggressive driving, like if your car nose dives or tail squats more than usual. When I blew my struts there was a leak and the steering/handling was terrible.

You should check the bushings, tire rods, bearings etc too.
