Default Help with part numbers for wiring connectors/plugs?

I'm having a nightmare trying to source a connector/plug to complete a loom I'm making for my heated seats retrofit. I have found the plug I need and also have the part number, but the BMW dealer I use for parts cannot find it in their parts catalogues. I have also had no luck when searching on realoem etc.
(I have even had the part number confirmed by another forum member who already has the connection I'm after. I have since asked him to check if there is also a TYCO/AMP part number on the plug - hopefully there is)

Here's the plug I'm after:
P/N. 6 905 164

It's X13989 on the following wiring diagrams: http://wds.spaghetticoder.org/en/svg/sp/SP0000022758.svg?m=e60

I have given the parts department at BMW this same information and they're looking into it. Anyone know of any other way I could source it?

are you sure that is the part number for the plug or only the covering cap? Open the cap and there will be another part number inside it.

This was actually quite easy. You need 61136905168.

Some parts I've spent a good part of year sourcing.

Thanks Bruce, I really appreciate it!
Unfortunately I havn't got the connector myself to be able to open it up, so thanks for checking for me.

...It's strange that the part number on the diagram only refers to the cover and not the actual connector. I had almost given up.

looked agan and this doesn't have a cover. So the part number I posted should be all you need. Ofcourse you'll need the crimps that go into it too and they appear to be two sizes.

I'm not using any special powers to get this information its all coming from realoem.com so you ought to check this out too yourself.

Oh right, I've obviously misunderstood. I thought you had checked the part number from your own car.

Thanks anyway though, I had done a bit of digging around on realoem also but I was obviously looking in the wrong sections.

...found it, all makes sense now.
