Default Help needed for E60 sub installation

My car is an 04, with Hi-Fi speaker system (stock amp in the boot) n shit

Do i really need to splice into the wires at the subs under the seats, or is there somewhere near the amp i can splice which will give me the same result? I tried another guide which ended up with me splicing into the rear-shelf speaker wires at the amp. But this does not give anywhere near the expected amount of bass in my sub (AFAIK) it's because the head-unit splits the EQ for the speakers. So in this case these speakers don't really get low-end freq.

Hoping someone can help me figure out if i need to tear apart half the car, or if there's an easier way?

You can tap the wires right after they LEAVE the amp in the trunk. The schematics are on this forum somewhere you just have to search. It's the thicker wires leaving the amp assuming you have logic 7.

You'll then have to run them to in line out converter before going to your new amp. I have an E61 wagon but all the equipment is in pretty much the same place.
