Thanks for your inputs Dbae. Maybe when you decide to get it done we can get a mini-group special cuz my friend with an 09 plat grey g37 coupe wants it done in gloss black as well. BTW, I wanna hear that monster RPI m5 sometime, maybe we should all meet up with weezy and big john (pjinca).

bmdoubledru..dude your ride. is. looking. f*&!ng. Glorious.
I .. wow speechless. wow

Anyways, i think i'm going to hold off on that roof for a while. still debating if i should get it done or not. But anyone selling matte black grills at a discount price even a broke ass college student can afford???

John, i'll be glad to show you. anyday.

Dude we can just get together and paint your grilles cheap. Go to Autozone get the paint and let me know.

Yeah, you gotta hear D's car - it's a beast, but a beautiful one

No, we don't have to strip the chrome off, we just need to sand and clean it well, then apply the paint.
Window trim is holding up ok, I learned a lot since it was my first time doing something like that and there are things I will do differently next time. At some point I'm going strip the paint off again and redo it better. I picked up a lot of tips since and look forward to trying them out.

Nah, got new techniques to try, shouldn't chip (unless its a rock chip). Besides, it's always a fun project and the grilles are easiest.

For sure, sounds good. I'm actually going to try and buy grills off ebay or something. But I still need to get my trim done. Still same price you quoted me months ago?
