Will gunmetal wheels looks good on my Platinum Gray 535xi? I'm afraid the grays will clash, but I really have no idea when it comes to color. (I have other talents!) I do know that Platinum Gray sometimes looks bluish, sometimes greenish, sometimes just dark gray. Thoughts?

Not sure if this will help but I have a cross between asphalt and platinum on my wheels which are on a silver car. Have a look at my sig or in my gallery. In your situation I think the gunmetal should ended up being darker than your paint.

Great looking wheels! But I actually think the Platinum Gray is darker than gunmetal. Here's PG....

Hm... I think they won't look good. Try black rims? It would look hot with platinum gray.

Thanks, but black scares me. I'm a 40-something business man and need to shoot for "sporty elegance". Black rims just seem too "tuner" for me.

Haha. Maybe silver? Platinum Gray was a color offered on VW cars and my friends jetta had gumetal rims installed....the rims did not flow well with PG. I will try to find some pictures so you can see.

Got 'em at www.bumperplugs.com. They definitely look better than a license plate holder or the the two screw holes in the front bumper. The paint match is perfect. In an ideal world, I'd rather the bumper be perfectly clean (no holes or plugs), but I'm not willing to buy a new one for something so trivial. So for $25, the bumper plugs are a good compromise.
