I went through this problem with my 04. It happened a while back so I cant really remember the details all that great. Since yours is an 05, it might work

The fuse should be in your trunk (just above your battery comparment). Change fuse number 79. Change it from a 7.5 amp to a 25 amp (it also could be 81 or 82 it changes depending on the year and accessories options) which can be found in your bmw tool kit. If the strobing continues, just do trial and error. You cant mess up your car by using a larger amp.

Ok I tried changeing the fuse like u said before. But it still does the same thing . Help

If the fuse trick didnt work, you will need resistors. Some people on the forum might sell them. Take a picture of your fog lights so people can see the connection.

Hey guys I fix the problem . I just needed to add those resistors and it took care of that flickering. Thanks for all the help guys

t&r lighting sells those wire harness which can fix the strobe problem when install HID on BMW. please contact t&r lighting at 5103312348, $30/set. easy to use, no wire cutting
