HELP HELP HELP WITH FOG LIGHTS!

Hello Hello. I just purchased a fog light setup with everything included from one of my friends who has an 02 330i e46. Our cars have the same connection for the fogs and somehow the fog lights on his car work, but not on mine, no matter what we do. Does anyone know what is wrong..Im so confused..Thanks

try switching the polarity of the plug that goes from the car to the ballast

do it ASAP too. prolonged exposure to that can fry the ballast.
