Default Help with Halogen to LED Fog Light upgrade installation

I have an 2008 535xi. I upgraded my halogen angel eyes to LED bc one went out, and decided to do the same with my halogen fog lights. I installed the the passenger side fog light with some difficulty by removing the headlight and also going through the wheel well. Going through the top alone ,where the headlight was, was next to impossible with the tight space. I found going through both spaces helped. The problem I am running into is on the driver side. There is a windshield wiper fluid reservoir behind the fog light, which makes it it impossible to access from the wheel well. I have search everywhere on various forums and the web with no success. I can't see how I can install the LED fog light through the top alone. There is just too much to install and secure and little room to work. Also, i don't think I am skilled enough to remove the bumper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are taking the correct approach. You need to remove the headlight assembly and also access thru the wheel well cover. It is difficult but it can be done. As a last resort you could place the car on a lift and access through the bottom cover. Good Luck !
