When I had my car on the lift the other day to get the exhaust installed I noticed that one of the plastic underbody panels was broken. I've searched everywhere I know to try to find it without success.
The piece I am looking for is the long piece that is under the driver's side seat. Not sure about the E60 but it covers where the fuel filter is on an E36. To try to be more descriptive, it starts at the back of the front wheel and goes to the back of the back door(I think) and goes almost to the center line of the car. Yes, it is the largest piece I saw under the car. I can't find any of the underbody panels in the online parts places I know but I'm not sure what category this part would fall into. I tried body and trim but didn't know where else to look.
Anybody know this part number?

It would probably help to know the year and model of your car...

If you go to http://www.realoem.com you may find what you're looking for under the "Vehicle trim" category and then try the "Mounting parts, engine compartment" sub-category.

Thanks guys I was able to find it. I never would have thought to look in the Mounting parts, engine compartment section.

I also made a signature so I won't have to worry about listing the info on my car.

I even made the signature the same color as my car, aren't you proud?

I just checked the place that Small Tomato linked and they show the park for $72.45, I was quoted $106 by the stealer. I bet the $72 is dealer cost.

Well ... that's not too much ... in Hong Kong we usually get double the cost when compare Stealer price with BMW OE importer's quote. The best we get from changing parts from local stealer, is the paid parts can be replaced (when it's found faulty) with a new one free of charge within 2 years from invoice date.
