Hello / SAT conversion
Hello my fellow 5'res . New member here and looking forward to sharing and learning most of all. I am looking to convert my E60 535i to sat mode. I thought I found the coding to it but it was for the B3 Flash. Also wondering if I do code can I still operate without upgrading sport shifter and don't have paddels. Thanks for the input
All I care is if it works and shows on cluster. I'll upgrade later unless I get lucky and find 1 4 sale. Thanks again.
Have all software ready.

Flash the transmission with the sport software, and code the cluster with the $2TB VO code (remove $205).
If you want to get the sport button behavior without retrofitting the actual sport shifter, you can wire up the "hidden sport mode" that people used to do on pre-LCI cars. Should have the same effect as the sport shifter + button, so you'll see the sport symbol, it'll stiffen up the steering, improve the shift speeds, and alter throttle response (though I found the throttle response difference to be more noticeable on the MSD81 than the MSD80 DME).
