sorry to hear that...
real m6 rims are supposed to be really light.
i was considering replicas, but if they're heavy, i'll probably look elsewhere.

I believe this is correct -
545/550 Sport Rims = 31-32 lb
M5 Rims = 27-28 lb
M6 Rims = 23-24 lb

how much do the replicas weigh?

Not sure of the exact weight, but when I put the OEM 18's in the garage, they felt 2X heavier than my 20's.

My current average, according to the BMW gauge, is 18.2 with an average speed of about 29 mph over many many miles--545i with lightweight nineteens and a fairly, but not excessively, speedy driver that doesn't attempt to do well mpg-wise.

The ideal is the lighter the better. 24.5 is good. Mine are 21-22 or so--style 101's. Stock 545i 18's are, as noted above, in the 31-33 range--way too heavy. You, and others, might be interested in checking out the ancient "Mind Candy" link in my sig.

OEM style 167 wheels are:
front 8 1/2 kg each
rear 9 1/2 kg each
