Hear me out...
im interested in starting a project or two for the spring but im looking for some feedback from the e60 world to guide me.
im torn between 2 different setups for my ride. as a reminder i have a 530i AW basically stock with some minor mods (lighting, trunk and roof spoiler, other small stuff). im considering 1 of 2 options, a sporty black contrast look, black wheels (with polished lip), black roof, black grills, dark tints, tinted taillamps (you get the idea) or more "luxurious/classy" look with silver/grey wheels (with or without polished lip) light tint. now this is the part ineed feedback on. there is alot of "hate" when it comes to mesh grills. for some reason, that I dont understand, replacing the kidneys grills seems to be a sin when it comes to bmw owners. my idea is this...changing the kidney grills to a mesh look but to make sure it doesnt have that "rice" or "bling" look i want to color match the outside of the grills and give it some contrats by color matching the mesh part to the wheels (black or silver/grey, depending on the combo i decide on). so the end result will be white outside of grill and either black or silver/grey for the mesh part. in either option i will be adding an acs spoiler to the front bumper and make a custom grill for the center space left by the lip to match the kidney grills. let me hear all the negative feedback as well as the positve (if there is any), im gonna make my own mind up but its always good to get another point of view.
thanx

i have alpine white too.. only thing im gonna comment on is the wheels.. im not the biggest fan of the black wheels on white cars.. it looks okay.. but not on my car.. i do like the roof black though.. that will look good either option.. IMO
