About the Hawk HPS pads, while looking over at google, i just came across this WRX forum where people are having a "clinking" noise after installing the Hawk HPS, and they say its coz the size of the pads are smaller.!

http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/sti-te...ing-noise.html

Would this clinking noise be there for the BMW E60 too? This is my first brake pad change for this car, and as such first time to be going for something non-OEM in regards to the Brake Pads, so just worried a lil!

Thanks.

Let's see, going on day 3 with the pads and I have no "clinking" noise. As you can see from the pics on the first page the pads are identical or nearly identical in size (didn't measure exact size) and they fit perfectly. It is possible that the WRX guys were using the incorrect pads for their cars, such as buying Impreza pads instead of WRX ones. I have no noise (thankfully) at all from my brakes now.

I won a set of these pads at the SLO meet raffle. They came with sensors.
