Red face Having problems with bricked cas 3

Hi guys,

Im new here so i hope i can get some help from you.

I have a e60-series 530d year 2008 (LCI) with bricked cas software.
I tried to flash it with winkfp with no luck =/
it says module not responding.

Ignition is not working and the car is dead.

Do you guys have any ideas of how to wake it up or program it ?

Thank you

i didnt know if it was bricked or not hehe .. my progman just died so the software is gone from cas unit.
I have tried many diffrent methods with no success so i just gave up and ordered a new cas from dealer today.

It would also be helpful if somone know how to program new cas in car ?
Never done that before

I saw ehssan already replied to ur question, his link is very useful. Ignition has to be on, install new CAS and connect battery charger.

Hello, I was reading this thread and I am in deep trouble myself now. I have update the CAS with WinPFK taking all precautions (stable power supply and removing key from lock during update). Still update was not successful and now the car is dead. No sign of life at all. Winpfk error 209 (IFH-0009). I also cannot reach the D_CAS module with Tools32 as well. I could not find the reply from ehssan that is referred to. Anybody some suggestions? I could use the help.

Hey, little late but did you by any chance find a way to communicate with the car after not being able to detect the modules?
