hi i have a 2004 545i with sport package wheels and tires, they are 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear
i'm looking at 2 set of wheels now, one guy told me he has a set of ASA wheels with 285/30/18 on both front and rear, he told me it'll fit on my car without rubbing and further mods becuase of the offset. but i'm wondering is it really possible my front tire can fit a 285?
and the second guy have a BMW brs 20" wheels with 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear with 18mm offset, seems like this set make more sense on my car, but just wondering is there any chance that it'll rub or will effect anything?

thanks so much for your help

ps. what does it mean by BRS? is that jsut the brand name?

I highly doubt the 285 will fit the front.

245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear with 18mm offset may fit with no rubbing.

BRS appears to be a model by Moven wheels, http://superbuytires.com/Moven/BRS/

Is this what the wheels look like? Looks to be a Breyton Spirit rep wheel,

I have 285/25/20 for rears. They are pretty wide and if you put them on the fronts, it would probably rub and it would also look wierd. Plus, think about the money in tires that you;d be wasting by getting 285s all the way around.
