Hello all bimmers , I have retrofitted the SSG steering wheel with paddle shift on the 2007/7 E60LCI ......
But I can not find the connector to the paddle shift control slot ( as attached photos ) ...... So it means
the paddle shift was not working for the moment.
If any expert can help me for this case to make the paddle shift working on my E60LCI ???? Thanks !!

Retrofitting the SAT is a piece of cake, but has anyone yet retrofitted the paddles on an LCI?
I would like to know what is involved.

Kent has done it (with the paddles) - his biggest problem is that BMW Taiwan is not assisting him with recoding the car. As a result, his paddles were not working, atleast not when we spoke last couple of weeks ago...

It makes perfect sense to me that it is possible with some work to add the paddle shifters to a non-xdrive LCI model since it is a factory option with the sport package. The paddle shifters are also available on the xdrive 3 series. For some reason, they are not available as an option on the xdrive 5 series.
Does anyone know if it is possible to add the paddle shifters to the xdrive LCI 5 series? Is there some technical issue? Has anyone does this retrofit? It seems like it should be possible.
A few people have mentioned looking at wiring diagrams to try to figure this stuff out. Any ideas on where one can obtain such diagrams?

Do you know the parts required?
Also, would it be possible to fit the paddles and at the same time get steering wheel heating without major wiring?
Thanks in advance.
