I have the Xenons but I hate my daytime running lights with the yellowish looking bulbs. I want to replace them but in looking how to get to them, it seems rather difficult. Has anyone done this and if so, how, without ripping their fingers to shreds?

Thanks.

Yeah I just replaced mine last week. They are easy to get out, but putting them back is a pain in the a#*. Plus when I finished doing the DRL and the fog lights with the same bulbs, the DRL were still yellowish. Someone on here told me that the DRL's are running at half power, so you will always have that yellowish look, even though you change them to a higher kelvin. Hope you have small hands b/c bmw doesnt give you much room to work with, I was cursing them for hours!!

Thanks for the response. That's exactly what I figured. It seems as if you have to use a bulb that is very blue to get the look since they operate at low power. What size are they by the way?

So are you saying that the high beams and the fogs are full xenon systems like the factory or just new bulbs?

I have the OEM BI-XENON. I changed the bulbs for a 8.000K bulbs.

About the High beams and Fogs I replace the Halogenan Bulbs with an Aftermarket full xenon system (Eagleeye).

Can someone tell me with complete confidence and knowledge what size bulb goes in the halogen flasher light. I have factory xenons as stated and want to change the DRL to a whiter color. Thank you

Sorry for the late response pole positon. I have 4000k bulbs. The bulbs are standard h-7 & h-4 bulbs, for the drl and fogs. They come with a blue tinted glass to help with the color difference. But like i said the drl's aren't that much different unless they are on high beam, but the fogs look real good with the xenon low beams on at the same time.
