I took my car in the other day to a local shop because the brakes were hardly stopping the car. they inspected the engine bay and found a damaged hose and was replaced but problem is still there and was informed that the problem might be from the brake master cylinder. anyone have any experience with this situation?

I had a brake booster valve problem... occasionally causing hard brake pedal when parked over night... but not a master brake cylinder problem...

I had the brake booster and master cylinder go out. It was like 3000 to fix but I have a friend that works at bmw and hooked me up.
