Because you are connecting it up in parallel you won't get extra voltage but potentially it will be putting more current into the eyes. However the eyes will only draw as much current as required and because of the diode it will suck the current from the LCM directly instead of the footwell. I'll spend sometime today looking through the WDS to tell you where the wires some in the car.

Thanks buddy. I was looking all day in the WDS and I couldn't find the angel eye power at all. So in theory, if I find the angel eye power, Get the foot well power from pin #54 on harness / pinplug X13252 and route the a wire from there to the "Angel / Halo" power with a diode connect to it and thats it?

I think pin 25 (GR/GN) and pin 40 (GR/BL) on the light module A3, which is behind the steering wheel, are the power to the Angel eyes called Side Lights. Unless side lights are the eyebrows.

You then take the two footwell light powers from the light module and connect each of these through a diode to the side light wires. The light module for the footwell lights is behind the glovebox, fusebox.

just another idea to achieve the same or better result:

http://shop.strato.de/epages/6141670...ectID=10543747

there is a link for a demo video after the line in red font. you can switch to english but for some reason they dont have the video link there. the video shows a pretty pimp combination of "light effects" but the idea is that you can let the car do exactly as crazy (or subtle) as you want it. the nice thing is you can also include the rear lights in the effect.

however, some guys on a german forum have installed this and many had problems with connecting their PC with the module with the supplied cable..
