Thanks for the dyno result.

Since there is no baseline from stock, do you think that part of the 25 hp gain probably came from the loss with magnaflow?
Well after calculating from it, my final output was 210 HP. Stock for a 525 is 185HP from the factory.

If you look at the dyno, I gained about ~5HP/TQ with the RPi over the Magnaflow. You see the gains from the RPi exhaust over the Magnaflow which gained about ~20HP over stock.

The black line represents: ECU remap + Magnaflow exhaust + RPi scoop
The red line represents: ECU remap + RPi exhaust + RPi scoop

EDIT: IMO, the gains for 525/530 will be similar. The engine is the same but power output is different.

I see. Thanks for the explanation.

So in the 530 we should expect to be around 250HP after ECU, exhaust, and scoop/filter?
still very reasonable, considering cost/benefit

I wish. It'd be done without question.

Well, Xman, I have a 2005 which means 225HP stock - in 06-07 the HP #'s went to 255 so if you have one you should be approaching stock 535 HP #'s. I don't so 250-255HP will be a reasonable expectation.

Now I see your point.

How much is the remap going for right now? Been thinking about getting it for a while since I already have the exhaust and scoop.

I think RPI does it for $499 or something, but you have to remove the ECU and send it to them.

Quick Reply: Has anyone done a ECU remap to 530?
