Hardwiring your V1 Radar Detector

That is the only problem with the driver's side install is when you plop the visor down, you block the ability to detect behind you. So, just keep the visor up. That's what sunglassees are for

Put the V1 above the rearview mirror, on the passenger side. You get good view out both front and rear, the controls are easy to reach and see, and you can use BOTH sunvisors without affecting the detector.

Also for anyone else, where did you mount your remote if you have the remote for your V1.
