Archos is great of course but 2 things,.. does it have TV out? cause u need that for the NAV.

Second is why pay so much more for the archos in the car when you are going to use the NAV screen as your monitor? If you plan to use the Archos outside the car for other use and it has TV out then it may be worth it. or if u mount the Archos in the car and use its screen to watch directly.

Can someone tell me how to hook this set up to the sound system and the I drive video screen? I missed that part I guess.
Thanks,
Mark

You'll need the tv unit from navwithtv2go. There's a group buy going on right now and you can get it for $485 with idrive control, or $400 with a remote.

The Archos does have A/V out, which can be connect to the navwithtv module; the Archos screen is just a 'bonus'. For example, I have an iPod Video in my car now... it has a color screen but is tucked in the glove compartment. The iPod video is ~$360 for a 60GB and the Archos AV500 (100G can he had for ~$350 new. The Archos can do so much more than the iPod for sure.

Good point about mounting the Archos
