My Ride: 2004 Black Sapphire Mettalic 525i, Premium Package, Pro Nav, Bluetooth, HUD, Aux In, Eibach Prokit, Navtogo TV Unit, 20" Defy D1s
Looking to install a hard disk player to play video, audio files to my nav screen (i have the navtv unit from natv2go). Any recommendations? Anyone have any reviews on the Lacie Silverscreen or something similar? Looking to mount behind glove box and control via remote. Thanks in advance.

Hi. I am using the MVISTO player with a 60GB Hard Disk. Works great. It has 2 especially nice features:
1. You can burn DVD's to ISO format and watch it on the HDD player with full menu functionality
2. You can change the background of the menu system to look the way you want with your own logos and pic of your car.
it works great for me. just google it to find the supplier.

Thanks for the input, where do you have it mounted? Does it have an RF or IR remote? Would like to control without having to point directly at the unit if possible since I'm looking to mount behind the glove box.

i have stuk it under the Glove Box and not IN it because it doesnt have extension to the IR. Although u can solder some wires to it and extend it if u really want to.
i have then stuck the remote to the outside \ passenger wall of the middle console so that it points directly to the unit. i know where the buttons are so i can press without looking.
I'll take some pics for u tomorrow.

here we go. i dont need to look at the remotes to operate them. i know where the keys are.
The small remote is to switch the screen between the MEDIA Player and the IDrive. It points upwards to the screen and works from its current position.
the Bigger Remote controls the media Player and also works from where it is.
The cable you see coming from the media player is for power. i still have to route it somewhere else.

the side of the armrest cover with leather make those dissappear from eyes.
