My Ride: 530iA Silver Grey , black interior. Premium Package, Navigation System, Head-up Display, Radio Satellite, Adaptive Xenon Headlights. AC Schnitzer Front Lip, H&R springs, Rear red reflector, All season Floor mat,
I have Silver Gray on my car, but if i had a choice to buy E60 again.. Alpine white would be the color.

My previous car was white and I loved it. It didn't show the dirt as much. Now I have Silver Gray, but don't know about showing how dirty she is because she is always being washed. But I have to admit, I do see a lot of Silver Grays when I'm driving around. Doesn't bother me too much though.

Wow many of you are ponting towards the alpine white...
I have only seen one alpine white in person and for a total of 30 seconds. But as the days go by i am leaning more towards the alpine white.

My Ride: '06 530i, white/beige, premiun package, clear bra, red rear reflectors
Got alpine white/beige myself, and love it. I see many silvers in my area, they all look great.

My Ride: 2006 530xiT, Sep. 2005 build, silver gray/gray/black anthracite, Steptronic, Premium, Premium Sound, NAV, PDC.
Model Year: 2006
It's a matter of taste. Ooops, sorry, did I state the obvious? FWIW, I agonized too about my / our (wife and me) choice (wagon, silver gray, gray interior, anthracite trim). We got to it kind of by a process of elimination - our ideal would be a light silver blue, which I think BMW offers on some cars but not ours. It helps if you can see the exact car, which we could not. But we are VERY happy with our choice so far (less than a week, and I only see it on weekends). Bottom line, I don't think you should get pushed into it by anyone else's opinion. Keep agonizing until the drop-dead date, enjoy the process, and enjoy the car.
