I'm looking at adding a new splitter. Was hoping for the Hartge, but I'm having no luck in finding a rep so I may be heading for the Hamann. Curious about the ground clearance. I'm currently riding on 18" wheels with H&R Sport springs.

I'll be running a 20" setup for summa', but switching back to the 18's for winter.

I haven't seen either splitter in person, and I'll only going by pics, but the Hamann seems so much lower.

Whatcha think, will a Hamann survive?

Thanks appreciate the feedback.

Trying searching but only came across appearance threads.

I've survived very well, just few grazes that haven't damage the splitter. I've taken it off for the winter though.
My car is lowered with KW coilovers and sits about at the same height as an OEM sport chassis.

Edit: The amount of clearance under the splitter at the lowest spot is 13cm / 5,12".

Thanks Anzafin, I never thought about just removing it for winter. Great idea.

Thanks, still trying to decide on this splitter.
If I go authentic I might as well pony up the cash and go with Hartge, what I really want.
Just wish I could find a rep. That's a lot of cheddar for the real deal.

Ya considering the original price was $1200 without paint, so $450 is a steal

$450 for an authentic Hamaan splitter seems like a real good deal. Good luck with the sale.

On my 2007, I cracked my Hamann Splitter. It's pretty common, but it looks really good.

I went with the Hartge for current car, but that cracked on delivery.
