You're not alone. My Hamann diffuser is also a little narrower and it takes a lot of force to put it on like I mentioned when I got it: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=40294. From time to time the top part of the diffuser will pop off and I have to shove it back on. I didn't put on the adhesive because i'm afraid I won't be able to take off the diffuser later if I wanted to.

Also, you mentioned that the diffuser came with "holes." Do you mean little dents on the surface? My diffuser had a lot of those dents, as well as my Hamann front bumper. My body shop had to sand those down but it was a pain because there were a lot of them. He told me that this is just a property of fiberglass body parts.

Anyone know why Hamann decides to use fiberglass rather than anything else?

P.S. Only $1,100 for you??? So cheap...
thanks man for little support on that. yeah as i wrote up there the part had lot of dents on the surface some of them were really big and my paint guy had to fix all of them. i used adhesive bc i was afraid it will fly away when i'll be doing 130mph on the highway racing some mercedes amg
other thing is that i paid the same amount of money for the diffuser(thanks to Attila-ats77 for 5% discount) but all the other cost were much less.i'm surprised with the custom fees mine was only $23, well i let Shenker INC do the paper work for me(its the company that Hamann uses to ship they parts at least tome) and with them shipping it to my door it cost me $213 i think next time u order parts let a company do for u the custom. shipping from Germany to US was 100 Euros for painting i paid a bit more $150 but they used original bmw paint

to ats77
That is nothing personal and i want to thank u very much for taking your time and replying to all my PM's and emails and 5%discount u were very nice thanks again
but......
of course u can fix everything it's only matter of time and money.i guess it's my bad that i didn't try the part on before painting i thought that with Hamann parts i wouldn't have to worry about problems with fitting it on to the car.
So again the part now looks awesome and i love the car with it but it cost me in my opinion to much nerves and made me a bit disappointed.i was thinking very highly about Hamann company(maybe one day i will again) wanted to make lot of different engine upgrades with them.
i guess that's all i wanted to say
Thanks again for everything after all.

to Fedcaper
well lucky you!! enjoy it!!now i can enjoy mine too after little bit of struggle
greets

mikolay it was NOT your fault buddy, your installer shop they should know that when it is time to mod or tune they first try on anything any brand if it is 110% fits and looks ok on your ride, happy for you mate.

Do not worry I wasn't offended at all but it is nice to stick to the facts.

I, in the past 4 days, have had a hamann splitter and rear diffuser primed, painted, and installed. I had absolutly no fitment issues and my car looks GREAT! I am sorry to hear about your problems but my experience with Hamann thus far has been perfect.
