HAHA, I am in the same boat as you... Leaning towards the Hamann though, since most already have the M5 side mirrors

I like the M5 mirrors better, but also agree that a lot of people have them already so the Hamann's would be more unique.

they are just not as pointy on the ends like the m5 and dont have the black insert. For me they just are not as common.

As we all said in past post... "Beauty is always in the eyes of the beholder"
Then there's the little voice in the back of one's mind... 'wannabe/poser' or 'original/unique'

Whatever floats one's boat... After all, it's your money

my dear FellaZ, I was afraid of asking this

ok seriously no doubt it is comparing a 550i and an M5!

Look, the two cars 550i and M5 are both hell of a machines and damn fast! I would may be get the 550i and juice it a bit but still would cost less and eat less, but that is not an M5!

so back to the mirrors two different story, one thing is similar a bit the function and aerodynamic functions.

Believe it or not the HAMANN one and so is the other reduces the drag.

As function is concerned mentioned here http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=30630&st=60 post No.65.

These mirrors IMO suits better e60, as the one "elephant ears" are just out of the game.

The M5s are better and nice, has all functions as my car, auto-dimming, fold, memory, etc. but that is the M% and all has it now.

The HAMANN one is more unique and is seen in less numbers. You know why I like HAMANN mates?
never asked anybody why?: simple, because you either hate that or love it, no third way, no neutral feelings.

See when you (car) is different than it worth all.

Now for members of E60 Forums the nice HAMANN mirrors see here below on pics,
HAMANN SPORT MIRRORS
For left-hand drive vehicles up to MY 8/2005
Electrically adjustable & heated 820,00
Electrically adjustable, heated & including fold-in function 990,00 in EURO and net, outside EU no VAT!

are for E60 FORUMS members SALE with 20% reduction both types, and only for left hand cars.
