hamann cf lip install?

Model Year: 2004
hello, I need help installing a hamann lip on the m-tech, what is the best way to attach this, and what size bit do I use to drill in the bumper, any DIY'ers that can give me instructions, thanks. Should I do this myself, or pay someone?

My Ride: 2009 Alpine White e92 M3
as I watch Vince over at Eurorev, you'll need to lift your car, you'll need a second person maybe a third person to help you out for perfect fitment. the type of screws not sure tho, I just got mine installed over the weekend. GL

When I had my Hamann front splitter (for M-tech), I installed it myself. Unless you have the proper tools, I would highly recommend having a reputable shop install it. Should you decide to do it, I highly encourage you to have one of your friends help you for alignment etc.

By removing the bumper, you're allowing more flexibility to properly line up the front splitter with the M-tech bumper. Wish I would've done that the first time around ...

Thanks Frank, but If I do this myself should I take off the front to make it easier when I drill the holes, also I noticed that the passenger side is not fitted perfeclty as the the driver side, same problem you had when installing the lip. Do you think by taking the bumper off I can make sure it is fitted perfectly.
