I remembered someone posted the price list for RD Sport and that 5.4 conversion was around $45K but I don't remember if that was US$ or Euros.

Second you guys do not know what you get for that price furthermore for M5 it costs much more but forget prices! if you do not have the $$$ or ??? easy, do not buy it!

it is a company and their products are unique and NOT cheap as regards as quality! But shall we blame also Gucci or other brands while they cost more than an other, just do not buy them IMO if there is no budget for that.

YOur question is good and now clean. That time in 2003-2004 the engine was way different. Furthermore they do NOT "drill" V10 engine of M5, however to make a perv. 07/06 engine from 530i to 3.3 L and from 545i to 5.2!!! it needs a lot of work. But you should talk to people who made that and they got a new car. (that time 550i was not available as it is only for one year out...) that explains all.
