Sounds great! I really like the sound but a word of advice. You probably can't get away with JUST installing the exhaust as you most likely need the software update as well. I didn't get the S1 software because in 2 weeks I'm also having the throttle body, CAI and S3 software installed so why bother?
But after driving it with just the exhaust, I notice a irregular hesitation and irregular shift pattern when in DS or triptronic mode.
Probably because the back pressures are changed by the exhaust causing the computer to try and over compensate.
So I thought I would let anyone know that if you are looking at the exhaust, you might need to look at the software as well.
Sounds AWESOME though. I can't wait to get the rest done.

I got the software as an after thought and the car runs perfect, better than OEM. Very smooth power delivery, no hesitation... Lets us know if the other upgrades fix everything.

UPDATE:
I actually called Dinan Tech Support and explained the erratic shift pattern that I was experiencing. They said they hadn't had the problem in the past and the S1 shouldn't be a requirement for just the exhaust on its own. He did mention that the tranny may be over-compensating for the added RPM's and to have the installer check it out. So based on some info he gave me I decided to do the "Tranny Reset Trick" on my own to see if it cures anything....well......BIG DIFFERENCE ! Now the car shifts out perfectly!
SO ....... in conclusion, you probably DO NOT need the software. What I was experiencing may have just been a fluke or something but it seems to run way better now!
This Friday I get the TB, CAI and S3 installed......should be fun!!!!
