My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.
I'm thinking of adding on the back 12 mm or 15 mm (not sure about the size, your advise would be greatly appreciated). I have the 18" 124 with Dunlop ran flats. If I add the spacers, is that going to change anything to the ride? Should be concerned about any issues?
Are the rear original 124 RIMS any wider than the front? Thanks

Your wheel sizes: 18 x 8.0 inches (front) / 18 x 9.0 inches (rear)
I would personally go with the 12mm since your rear wheels are staggered

Make sure you:
Get longer wheel bolts
Torque everything to factory spec
Re-torque after a few days
Get some anti-seize from your local auto parts store and apply before slapping on the spacers
Make sure you get hubcentric spacers
I went with Rogue Engineering spacers. But H&R Trak should be just as good. Without getting into too much detail, widening the stance can improve looks and handling, while adding a bit of stress to some suspension components. The stress is so little, it should be negligible.
If you want to read more on how it affects your handling and scrub radius, read the H&R website link regarding spacers.
