Hi everyone

Just thought I'd share a few before and after photos with everyone.

I just picked up my new 525 (non sport) last Wed and got the H&R Sport Springs installed right away (before the wife saw the new car). This way, I wouldn't have to face the possibility of the wife noticing I did something and asking some uncomfortable questions. What she doesn't know won't hurt her (I mean me) and besides, the car came that way.

The springs sure made a difference in the handling and I think the car looks way better and more aggressive. Thanks to member Black530e60 for the opinions and tips. I'm using OEM style 124 rims with the Bridgestone RE050A runflats (thanks to Silverrush for the rim deal). I want to also change the tires to non runflats but that will have to wait until these wearout. Just too much spending at one time.

I think it's a bit too low if you install body kit later on. But it really make the difference, way to go

It'll be low enough if he upgrades his wheels to 19s or 20s.

Nice ride jlgjwu!

When I first installed my coilovers, it was pretty low...couldn't fit half a finger in there. Funny thing was, I didn't tell my wife and she didn't even notice any difference when she drove it. I'm not saying that the ride was still smooth as stock cause it was pretty stiff; I'm saying my wife was oblivious....hahaha (her ears are probably ringing right now and I'm gonna get slapped when I get home )

Wow, looks good. You're real sneaky

Wife doesn't know huh? You're one brave soul there Mr. jlgjwu, I like that

I wouldn't be able to get away with that with my wife, she notices everything about the car. But lately she is becoming a car fanatic. So I might be able to convince her to lower her car, looks high with 20s.

Great lookin' ride. Lowering really improves the car's stance. Ya'll are right about wives being oblivious. I just tinted my car with 35% last week and she still hasn't said anything. Ha ha!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments! The car really looks ALOT better and more agressive. Although you can fit 1 1/2 fingers, it looks lower in person. However, I think I'll have to lay low for a while with the 19" or 20" rims. I don't think I would be able to hide those from the wife. She's not that oblivious......

I bought the springs from Inter Auto Parts in Monrovia, CA. Website is www.interautoparts.com
Ask for Jeremy if you're interested and I paid $240.00 + shipping. Install cost me about $210.00 (coverted from $250 Canadian $$) + $100 for alignment at the dealer.
