Has anyone had any issues with the H&R race springs for the 2006 530i? I just installed it this weekend and it makes this horrible noise, as if the spring is loose. The installer mentioned that this is a common problem on H&R for the E60's.

Just curious - if anyone is having similar issues? I've used H&R's on my previous e46's and they worked fine.

Please let me know....

i have h&r coilovers and i have not any problems or noises, i would have them checked it could be that the stock shocks are too tall now or that they are not in thier perches like they should be also have the strut locking nut checked for tightness.

Sorry i dont. i have them set to the height of the sport suspension maybe a tad lower, i had it set aligned and forgot as any adjustments would call for a realignment and at 120 and the cost of the tires i think i will pass on it right now

Interesting setting, most people who install coilovers usually lower it to the bottom or even 1.75 inches or more. Any specific reason you opted for coilovers instead of standard springs when you are only lowering 30mm or less?
