Howdy. I am interested in a cat-back for a 535xi, especially at a sub-$600 price.

Seems to be a lot of interest which is a good thing...we have Umnitza which will have more details on an exhaust for us soon, I will talk with Active Autowerke to see if they would be interested in producing a mass production and get an idea on pricing. I know you guys are all agreeing on the sub $600 price which is an amazing deal! but I doubt that a nice stainless steel mandrel bent cat back exhaust will be that cheap! As soon as i get an idea on pricing or if it can be done I will let you guys know.

At least with all the interest I know some one will eventually make a nice exhaust system for our car for a reasonable price

I would be interested in a quad tipped exhaust.

Racing Dynamics (RDSport) does make a true quad-pipe conversion kit, which connects to the engine's downpipes. for the E60 535i for $3100 (Pricey): See link:

Racing Dynamics BMW Quad Exhaust Retrofit

I am in discussions with RDSport at the moment to make sure it will fit my AWD E60. I have a 2009 535i XDrive, so it must be compatible with the AWD model.

It would be great if we can group buy to reduce the price. There are m-sport diffusers with the proper cut-outs for the quad exhaust. The bumper does not have to be replaced.

Note: I did inquire with Umnitza, as well as other E60 exhaust manufacturers. Their quad exhausts are purely cosmetic, since the right exhaust branches off of the left one (see link below). Most other solutions are the cosmetic ones. I am not interested in this kind of exhaust.

BMW E60 Cosmetic Quad

MStyle also has a true quad available, but they are located in the UK and they may only be for the RWD models:

I attached an undercarriage photo of My E60 535XI and a parts drawing of the OEM N54 exhaust. Would help visualize what is needed. I removed the plastic cover below the battery tray, which is where the other catback would fit. Remember, a heat shield for the right side would have to be installed.
