Been debating this for a while and worried it will steal the classy look from the car and take away any contrast left. I've already gotten the shadowline trim. The only thing left chrome on the car is the grill but the grill is a very very distinct feature of any BMW and visible from the front from a distance. If you remove it, the look will be changed completely especially on a BLACK car.
So please help me decide.
So please help me decide.

I'll be the martyr of the group, I am not into it personally. And I completely agree with you about how the chrome on the grill gives the front end a classy gleam that is unique and identifiable.
One good thing about this modification is that it is cheap, you can always change your mind if you try it and don't like it. But I have a theory that if the trim on this car and the grill ONLY came in black, people would be buying chrome for it. Every car I have ever owned, and every forum just wants to alter slightly from the norm...

Go for it. I did, and I like the stealthy, custom look. Don't paint your existing grilles, like someone here suggested. The paint will chip and look ghetto.

Okay wait... I am looking at your car and The theme fits very nicely with the chrome... Forget my prior statement ^ there.
If you do decide to do it, buy the extra grills instead of painting them like I did. That way you can go back if you want to drastically change the appearance again.
