What's the difference between the E-line and the premium line rotors?

+1 on the Group Buy, if they can get them even cheaper than this i'm def in to Trinity & Ner
The PREMIUM comes w/ a stronger metal casting, better rust protection coating on the center hub and inner vane structures. Overall longer lasting rotor. It can handle more of a beating than the E line rotors. The cast is right in the dead center of the rotor for an even heat distriubtion of the front half/back half of the rotor

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.

Nice, well I'm def interested in getting some. Though I would probably only want slotted or drilled, not both, that seems like it would weaken the structural integrity too much. And look pretty ricey

+1 I vote for the drilled for me, not both, they would look great with painted calipers behind the new wheels.

agree.

i have my wheels and painted calipers. to complete my look rotors was the last thing. I priced these on stillen.com a couple months ago and priced them with trinity. I decided rotors werent needed right now because my stock ones only have 30k on them. when i need to replace them i will go with the premium drilled rotors! So that being said if we get a better price then i was quoted before i might buy them and just hold on to them until i need to change them. How long do stock rotors typically last?

depends on how hard you drive them, or how hard you brake on them

I'm with you alpine girl, i only have about 30K on my car but it does have some added braking power.

The drilled rotors look better than the plain old stock ones. You should change them and keep the stock as replacement instead.
