Yea, sorry I mixed up front and rear, but what about the Z and speed ratings being different. I ordered them to be the same. Does it make any difference?
As I said earlier, they are correct and both Y rated...

I noticed my front tires are 275/35ZR18 95Y and my rear are 245/40R18 93Y rated. I ordered the same front and rear ratings, but I got these. Is this OK, or does it make a negative diiference? Should I go back to costco and complain?

FRONT tires 275 and REAR 245 ?
go back to the store, have them change them and NEVER go near that shop again..

How does the Costco pricing compare to Tire Rack. Not a Costco member. Tires are for 545i Sport. Still got my Dunlop Run-Flats on, it has been so warm in Ct. but will put snows on when it gets colder and say goodbye to Run-Flats and buy PS2's in spring. Run-flats are getting real loud after about 28,000 miles or so on them.

Tire Rack is considerably cheaper. was about $45 more per tire for the set I ordered (winter tires - mich alpin 2s) but includes mounting, balancing, and a good warrantee. Costco has treated me well with big items, including the car, so I decided to stick with a vendor I trust.

The tires are cheaper at tirerack, but then there is the hassle of bringing them to a tire shop and getting them mounted and balanced which will cost ~$100 or so.

my car came with goodyear runflats fitted - this seems to be unusual.

the car is very settled and takes bumpy roads that other cars ive been in transmit every bump.

The car does however feel very skittish on one freeway style road i use - when there is a little wind. Perhaps its a bit of tramlining going on - but the car feels like the unstable buffeting you get when driving a sub-compact car.

Its a great car all the same

cheers

Indeed, and even better without the thumpflats!

I paid Tirerack $1373 and they delivered the tires to EF1 Motorsports in Signal Hill, 245 and 275 x 19. They mounted and balanced for $84. I tried Costco first when they said they could get 285's for the rear. After two weeks of waiting and many phone calls to them I finally went to Costco to check on the progress. They then told me they couldn't get the 285's so I gave up on Costco.

I don't believe you have to be a Costco member to order from Costco on line, however, you pay 5% more and you can use a MasterCard or Visa.
