on a serious note, is the difference really significant? i removed my charcoral filter and didn't notice much... it kinda feels "better" but it mostly in my head because i know the engine breathing more.

i wonder if K&N will feel much better? btw, how much is it?

From what I read over at Bimmerfest.com K&N drop in filter does absolutely nothing to our cars except cause MAF sensor problems from the oil on the filter and make your wallet less lighter.

I've had the K&N filter in my mustang before and I agree that it did absolutely nothing to performance gains.. if it did.. I couldn't tell.
